World Art Day – Jin, from BodyQuest, transforms into The Girl with the Pearl Earring
Today, 15 April, World Art Day is celebrated to highlight the importance of art in the evolution of human beings. At Didactoons we didn't want to miss the opportunity to make our own interpretation of one of the most famous works in the History of Art, The Girl with the Pearl Earring by Johannes Vermmer.

Jin, one of our BodyQuestmain characters, looks at the viewer and transforms herself into the young woman portrayed by Vermeer in the 17th century, whose pearl catches our attention as the centrepiece of the whole painting.
World Art Day was first celebrated in 2012 to raise awareness of the importance of art and creative thinking. It was in 2019 when UNESCO made official the date that coincides with the birth of Leonardo Da Vinci, one of the geniuses of the Renaissance and Art History.
How about our Jin, from BodyQuest, as The Girl with the Pearl Earring? BodyQuest is our latest educational adventure that takes players inside the human body to find a cure and save humanity. It is divided into 25 levels that take place within the locomotor, digestive, circulatory, respiratory and nervous systems. It is available now on Nintendo Switch and is coming soon to mobile platforms.
